We've been trying to figure out what a real-world Kinja engine would be ever since the little "Powered by Kinja" thing popped up at the bottom of our screens.
I think I've figured it out: 900+ HP supercharged V8 dropped into a VW Van. Yes, the sticker is available in the storefront so go plaster it onto your Forza Horizon 2 garage.

V8 sounds pretty weird engine for a VW. You will need a rather big radiator and soon the van has similar front end as the modernized Brazilian ones (the game might cheat though but it should need a radiator).
How about a 911 Turbo engine? Is that possible? I'm not familiar with that game. Here's one real world version.

porsche 911 gt3 engine, powerful, but has a reputation for catching on fire
any ferrari engine becuase they are unreliable
any range rover engine becuase they are also pretty unreliable
I think gt3 becuase it is powerful and kinja could be great, but the engines kept catching on fire, and we were also kinja'd though.

Olds Diesel.
Good in theory, works most of the time, but is torn down for repairs and modifications more frequently that you'd like.

I agree with kanadanmajava1, Porsche is the right way to go for a VW van.
Keep it a boxer.

You would probably need a bigger radiator for the turbo engine, irl
